Accommodations

The Thanksgiving House was the original structure at Elohee and is currently available for use by small private groups. With six bedrooms and four bathrooms, it sleeps up to fourteen. It offers two community rooms with fireplaces, a kitchen and dining room, as well as a meditation/yoga room.  The outdoor patio has its own fireplace and overlooks a 100 foot waterfall and small pool.

The Thanksgiving House is nestled in a Rich Cove Forest niche which supports a wide range of trees and plants.  Red maple, oak, basswood, and poplar are only a few of the types of trees growing here. Spring wildflowers and medicinal herbs flourish here. Mosses and rotting logs make the damp forest floor suitable for a wide variety of salamanders and one of the most diverse ecosystems found outside the tropics.

The Thanksgiving House is situated next to a 100-ft. waterfall, and about a 10-minute walk from Bald Mountain. It has 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 indoor fireplaces, 1 outdoor fireplace, and a meeting space that comfortably fits 10-13 people.

About Elohee

From the Elohee website: "We call the 220 acres of undeveloped land where Elohee rests Landsong. It is located in the North Georgia mountains in the foothills of the Blue Ridge near the village of Sautee Nacoochee. Andy and Carolyn Bralley purchased the land in 2010 while their daughter, Evie Cook, was battling refractory Hodgkins lymphoma. Learn more about Eve’s story and the beginnings of Elohee.

The Elohee Center at Landsong is being created to provide a retreat space in Nature to allow for self-exploration, individual growth, and mind/body healing. It is a place where Earth and Air, Fire and Water nurture wisdom both ancient and new. This endeavor has expanded to include extended family and an ever-widening circle of friends who have not only joined us in its creation, but have enjoyed the transforming, healing power of the land on which it sits. Learn more about our mission and the people who make Elohee possible.

Elohee ( EL-oh-HEE ) is a Cherokee word meaning 'earth place.'"

What an amazing retreat! Wonderful people and food in a truly spiritual place. Thanks for the trip of a lifetime. Jen and Megan are truly amazing and did all the hard work so all we had to do was show up and enjoy ourselves.

Megan & Jen bring joy, peace and happiness to all retreats! This was my 3rd Elohee retreat with them, and it was all I expected plus some. They get to know their guests and treat us like family. The yoga poses they show us are beautiful! Two strong women empowering us all to live a full life. I cannot recommend their trips enough. You MUST sign up and get onboard. Let them guide you to find inner and outer peace!!

It was such a wonderful time. I cannot recommend this retreat enough. The food, the people, and the rooms were lovely. I enjoyed my daily beach walks and the wonderful locals who treated me with kindness and care. Jen and Megan did a fantastic job taking care of all of us during the week with twice-daily yoga and loads of laughs and fun.

I had an absolutely wonderful time. The trip fell over my birthday and they event made the effort to make my birthday special. The food was amazing, the weather was warm, we got to see monkeys, and the yoga was divine! Highly recommend Wild Wonder!

Wild Wonder Yoga Retreats is the best! This is our 3rd retreat with Megan and Jen, and we have another one planned to Bali for July 2025. Every aspect of our retreat to Peru (and the previous ones to Costa Rica and Italy) had been planned meticulously: from transportation from our hotel to the resort and all scheduled activities, to the wonderful food, to all the amazing excursions, to Willka T'ika where we stayed for the week, to recommendations for what to pack, how to tip—literally everything. We met some new friends on this retreat and also reconnected with some “repeat offenders” —people who have been on Wild Wonder Yoga Retreats before because they are so much fun and organized. Megan and Jen make everyone feel welcome and at home, and the yoga is amazing! Their energy is refreshing and always positive—they are genuinely happy that you have chosen to join them on the retreat and there is absolutely no pressure to attend any yoga sessions or any of the excursions if you don’t want to. And, we always felt safe. It was a wonderful experience and crossed off a bucket list for us. We cannot wait for more trips with Wild Wonder Yoga Retreats in the future!

5 Stars – A Special Week in Bali with Wild Wonder Yoga I just returned from a yoga retreat in Bali with Wild Wonder Yoga, and it was an amazing experience. Every day was a perfect mix of yoga, relaxation, adventure, and learning about Balinese culture. We practiced yoga daily, visited beautiful temples, went to a secret waterfall, snorkeled in clear blue water, and met a Balinese healer. We also had a chance to give back to the local community with a charity trek and ended the retreat with a special purification ceremony led by a Balinese High Priestess. Floating Leaf was the perfect place to stay—peaceful, welcoming, and surrounded by nature. The Wild Wonder Yoga team made the whole week feel safe, supportive, and fun. If you’re looking for a retreat that helps you recharge, connect with yourself, and experience the beauty of Bali, I highly recommend this one. I came home feeling refreshed, happy, and so grateful.
